Dassel-Cokato High Class of 1997In 1997 Bill Clinton began his second term as President, Madeleine Albright became the first female Secretary of State, The Simpsons surpassed the Flintstones as the longest-running prime-time animated series, Eric Clapton won best record of the year for "Change the World", and the Packers beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI.. ..and we all graduated from high school. Let's celebrate!If you've lost track of time, I'm here to tell you that a crazy ten years has passed since we left behind the red lockers and long brown lunch tables of DC high school. A ten year class reunion is happening and it's happening homecoming weekend, September 28th and 29th. Everything you need to know about the event will be posted to this website, www.DCclassof97.com, so check back for updates. In the mean time, we can use everyone's help spreading the word. Share this website and send me your email addresses. We'll kick off the weekend on Friday night at the Homecoming football game in the new football field and track area, and then meet up afterwards for a little post game party. Saturday night we will have a social hour and dinner at Peter's restaurant on Lake Ripley in Litchfield. Mark it off on the calendar now as we'll start asking people to send in their RSVPs in a few weeks.
